The Rules are Simple...

  1. You must be on Strava & make friends with Mark McCOlgan

  2. Run the segment more than anyone else in August, and you will be crowned the local legend!

  3. If speed is what you’re after, you can also compete for the crown.

  4. To share the love, you can't win both challenges. Only 1 M/F winner for the Local Legend and only 1 M/F winner for the Course Record - not both!  If you happen to win both, we will move to the next person on the list.

What can you win?

Aside from being the top dog with ultimate bragging rights, the top Male/Female Local Legend and the top Male/Female Course Record holders will get one free entry to any SJTR event from now to the end of 2027 and a custom hoodie + running shirt.

Why did you make it so long and hard?

Because, if you can complete this route over and over and over again, Loonie Loops will be a piece of cake!
